Pinhead Gunpowder

A well-made and world renowned green tea, Pinhead Gunpowder Tea is manufactured by steaming and rolling the leaves into small, tightly formed green pellets, or "pinheads," that gently unfurl when infused. The tea produces a beautiful greenish-golden liquor and is highly appreciated throughout the Middle East. It is characterized by a light smoky aroma and a distinctive nutty flavour.

Brewing Instructions: Use 1 teaspoon per cup. Bring freshly drawn water to the boil, then allow it to cool for approximately 2–3 minutes to reach around 80–85°C. Infuse for 2–3 minutes, allowing the tightly rolled leaves to gently unfurl and reveal a smooth, refreshing green tea with delicate vegetal notes and a subtle toasted character. Best enjoyed without milk.

Cold Brew Guide:
Use 1–2 teaspoons per 350ml of cold water. Infuse in the refrigerator for 4–8 hours to produce a smooth, naturally sweet green tea with very little bitterness. Strain before serving over ice.
